Matagal-tagal na, diba? Tatlong linggo na ang lumipas nang huli tayong nagsama-sama bilang Potassium. Kamusta na kayo? Masaya ba yung mga bagong section niyo? Ikaw, Carl, kamusta ka na? Miss ka na ng lahat, maski hindi Potassium.

Dis is it, mga repapips. Huling taon na natin sa Pisay. At kahit na maging close na tayo sa mga bago nating section, kahit na makahanap na tayo ng mga bagong kaibigan, kahit na hindi na tayo mag-hello sa isa’t-isa, kahit na mag-dedmahan na lang tayo forever,

sana hindi niyo makalimutan na sa isang parte ng buhay niyo, napabilang kayo sa isang section na minahal kayo at tinanggap kayo, kung saan kayo nakahanap ng bagong kaibigan (o kaaway, na naging daan upang makahanap kayo ng bagong friends, kaya positive effect pa rin), at kung saan nagkaroon kayo ng adviser na minahal niyo ng sobra kaya hindi kayo pumasok sa huling homeroom meeting niyo.

Pero, higit sa lahat, wag niyong kalimutan na naging parte kayo ng Potassium 2012. 🙂 >:D<


Enrollment for SY 2011 – 2012

Hi guys! How have you all been? Fun ba ang summer so far? asan na yung gimmick na’tin D: May Php3,700 pako dito. :)) Lol anyway. Summer’s ending soon, at malapit na mag-enrollment. So, for those who weren’t able to get this email (supposedly parents dapat nakatanggap nito), ishe-share ko nalang. 🙂 Read a :).

This is Lance Calub, president of Batch 2012.  This e-mail is to inform you of the many important dates and reminders that you and your child need to be notified of.  These are the following:

  1. Enrolment for the Batch is on 2 June 2011.  For this year, the Registrar’s Office assigned time slots for each section for easy processing.  Potassium students are to be accommodated from 1  to 2 PM.
  2. There will be an UPCAT Orientation for the incoming seniors on 1 June 2011, from 8 AM onwards.  On the same day, on 1 PM, the students will have their orientation for SY 2011 – 2012.  You are enjoined to attend both orientations.
  3. On the enrolment, your child must submit his/her CHECKLIST OF REQUIREMENTS (go here. Log in nalang kayo.), Form 138 (Report Card), and the other requirements as posted on the school’s website to the Registrar’s Office.
  4. School IDs will also be given to the students on the enrolment day as well.  However, they must have the appropriate ID holder (Color blue for seniors.  The ID strap is available at the school cafeteria.).  The RO will enforce a NO ID HOLDER, NO ID rule.
  5. For those who still do not have their report cards, the student’s Clearance Form-A is a requirement to claim it.  The RO will process these forms beginning 6 June 2011.  Subsequently, report cards will also be released.  The RO will not release the Form 138s on the enrolment day itself.
  6. Students who missed their ID photo session may have their picture taken starting 1 June 2011, 1 PM, and every afternoon thereafter.  Please allow for a processing time of approximately seven (7) working days starting on the date of the photo session.
  7. Each day that your child will be caught not wearing his/her school ID shall be grounds for the issuance of a non-compliance report.  This policy shall be enforced starting on 6 June 2011.
  8. Classes will start on 6 June 2011.  In view of this, students must come in complete and appropriate uniform.  Please allow me to emphasize proper haircut for the male students.
  9. Announcements regarding the availability and use of lockers will be release at a later time.

On another note, please be informed that the Office of Admissions of the University of the Philippines has released application forms for the UPCAT.  Below is a list of requirements for the submission of these, as seen on the application form:

  1. Correctly and completely accomplished UPCAT Forms 1 & 2.
    • If the applicant is a transferee or has taken some subjects from another school (e.g. for summer courses), then a signed and certified legible photocopy of the Permanent Secondary School Record (Form 137) from the other school must be attached to UPCAT Form 2 containing all the grades earned therein.
    • Likewise, if the applicant needed more than 4 years to finish high school, a signed and certified photocopy of the Form 137 must be submitted.
  2. Four 2″x2″ identical recent photographs taken within the last six months.
  3. UPCAT Application Fee or documents for Exemption
    • The non-refundable UPCAT Application Fee is PHP 450 for Filipinos with annual gross family income of more than PHP 100 000.
  4. Exempted from payment of the Application Fee are Filipino applicants belonging to either of these groups.
    • Those with annual gross family income of PHP 100 000 or less (supported by 2010 ITRs of earning members of the family or BIR Certification of Exemption); or
    • Top ten graduates or prospective graduates of public high schools for SY 2011-2012 (supported by a ranked listing of the school’s TOP TEN students as of SY 2010-2011 signed by the School Head/Principal).

Other details will be released on the UPCAT Orientation on the date mentioned above.  The deadline for filing of the applications is on 17 June 2011.

Card Giving Procedure (March 31, 2011)

  1. The student must present his fully accomplished clearance form to the Registrar staff in-charge of distributing the report card to claim his/her report card. NO REPORT CARD WILL BE ISSUED to students with INCOMPLETE clearances/UNCLEARED items.
  2. If you have accountabilities at the Office of the Registrar, you shall not be entertained on March 31, 2011. Please accomplish your accountabilities with the Registrar’s Office from May 23-27, 2011.
  3. If you missed your photo session schedule without prior notice to the Registrar’s Office, you will be accommodated only on June 1, 2011 onwards. Each day of non-wearing of the ID shall be one non-compliance. (This is a reiteration of our previous announcement regarding pre-enrolment procedure.)
  4. Students with substandard grades (2.75 or 3.0) must be accompanied by his/her parent or guardian for SY 2011-2012 must be accompanied when claiming the card.
  5. Students who are not able to claim their report card on 31 March 2011 may do so on May 30-31, 2011, provided the clearance is fully accomplished and presented to the Registrar staff in-charge.
  6. No report cards will be issued during regular enrolment, the schedule of which will be announced later.
  7. The report card is a requirement for enrolment.
  8. Please be guided by the above procedure.

Plan: Redbox para dun na kakain ng lunch then sing na rin (nandun narin naman tayo diba? XD) Lunch tayo sa Trinoma tapos sa mga gustong dumiretso na agad sa bahay ni Benjo, pupunta na. Yung iba, mag-llazertag. :-bd Tapos right after, bahay ni Benjo for swimming. :>

Date: April 1, 2011 (Friday, YES. I KNOW. I KNOW YOU KNOW RIN NA IT’S FRIIIIDAAAAY :>)

Time: Uhm, depende kasi sa kung anong slot kukunin natin sa RedBox. Dalawa yung slots na pwede saatin.

Either 11am-2pm (299 pesos per head, inclusive of Eat-all-you-can Lunch)

or

2pm-4pm (149 pesos per head, kahit mas mura to, may catch. We will have to pay for all the food we buy, hindi katulad ng isang option na Eat-all-you-can. So baka either maging 299 rin mababayad natin in the end or more pa. :D)

Wag nang RedBox kasi yung room na gusto natin kunin na may billiards, may kumuha na. So hindi nalang kami nagreserve. Mag mang inasal nalang tayo or something tapos either bahay na ni benjo or lazertag 😀

2. Formal Prom Pics

The packages are with us. Please pay due fees on MONDAY. It is P100 per package. Ung kelangan bayaran per student regarding the formal prom pics. refer to previous posts. YUNG MGA WALA: Bring your clothes from prom on MONDAY. Nasa fourth floor ung backdrop. KELANGAN LAHAT NG PICS NA GANITO MAKUHANAN NA ON MONDAY… This is needed for the scrapbook. I will print the pics on monday night para mapasa scrapbook sa tuesday. PLEASE, kelangan lahat makaformal prom pic na sa MONDAY. the scrapbook must be completed by tuesday.

3. Those who did not join the outbound.

Get the worksheet from sir nat on monday. 9AM. This is NOT for everyone.

4. Thank You Note

UPDATE: This is for all those na nagpasponsor sa mga activities such as nung outbound natin… Just make a thank you note daw to your sponsor… whether you know them or not. (sabi naman ni sir nat madalas anonymous eh…) just make a thank you note. so this is NOT for everyone.

5. Career Plan

Get the forms from the Registrar on MONDAY 10PM. This will also be posted later on. This is needed for getting your card on MARCH 31

6. Prom Pic Orders, Batch Shirt Orders, Prom Raw Video Orders, Prom Complete Photo Coverage.

PROM PIC ORDERS AND BATCH SHIRT ORDERS (Php 100 for 1st shirt; Php 200 for additional shirt) THE PTA PLANS TO SELL THE PROM RAW VIDEO (2 CDs) and COMPLETE PHOTO COVERAGE (1 CD – this is different from the Formal Picture Coverage) for Php 200. CLAIM AND PAY ORDERS DURING CARD-GIVING. I will need to submit this on March 25 Midnight to Sir Nat.

8. Official time for March 21(Mon) & March 22 (Tues) shall be until 12 noon or after finishing activities, e.g. checking  clearance requirements from teachers, admin units (except those joining the bio? field trip). Gate pass no longer needed because the 12 noon is official dismissal time. Please advise your parents accordingly.

9. Scrapbook

Pagkabayad niyo ng prom pics sa MONDAY. Please give me a wallet size picture of you. (kelangan ung original copy… pero wallet size lang naman and i only need one.)(ung mga wala pa… fourth floor on monday. bring prom clothes. jp? padala camera okay lang? okay na ung object permit form mo kung magdadala ka…) I will ask you to write din a short dedication to sir nat on monday. so. please come to school…

UPDATE: GUYS. I need this tonight… please email me your nickname, full name, intro mo for yourself, and youre favorite pangyayari this year. for the intro… informal and simple is best. but please… isusubmit toh sa teacher. so no bad language. i will copy paste the information sent to me… so please check lahat nung spelling. Btw, bawal pala malukot, magkaron ng fold, or kahit ano dun sa paper. Di nila tatanggapin I think? lol. So yeah. ingatan nyo nalang. Kaya hindi ko binigay nung Friday or Saturday kasi baka mawala/madumihan/mafold nyo lang. 🙂

Prom Pics!

So, as announced yesterday (Yesterday lang yung outbound? Parang antagal na since that time @.@) , the prom pics have arrived.

In order to receive the pictures, you must pay first. It’s Php100/package.

No, I did not give them out on Friday to force people to pay. If you’re planning on ordering, ask the BC for guidance.

 

So, the people who ordered prom pics are:

3, 6, 7(x2), 9(x2), 15, 20, 21(x2), 23(x2), 24(x2), 25(x3), 27, 28, 29

So, class numbers 7, 9, 23, and 24 have 2 orders each, which means you’ll pay Php 200.

Class number 25 has 3, so you’ll pay Php 200/ Php 300. I’ll have to clarify this first.

 

You can approach me, or Mikee to pay. The payment is due on Monday, so pay. Tell me if you can’t pay on Monday so I can do something about it. Tell me ASAP, mkay?

 

Also, submit a wallet-sized solo picture to Ilagan on Monday to be placed in the scrapbook.

For people who did not order prom pics, or who were not able to get their solo prom pictures taken, the backdrop will be at the 4th floor. I’ll ask JP to bring his camera on Monday to take our pictures. Bring your prom attire so you don’t look like a dumbass wearing the uniform.

If you have any questions about the prom pics, don’t hesitate to ask.
